Any questions before we get started?

How long will the production take?

Like many things in life worth doing, producing a good looking video takes time. In an ideal world, the longer we are given, the better. But we’re under no illusions that time is not always on your side when it comes to marketing! We’re flexible and will do our best to accommodate even the tightest deadline. Once we commit to a deadline, we never miss it.

A 60 second 2D animation will usually take around 4 to six weeks from concept to delivery.

Can you record voiceovers?

We have a fantastic roster of talented voiceover artists offering a great range of styles. We can provide samples prior to recording to make sure you’re happy with how they sound before we hit the go button. Equally, if you prefer to supply your own recording, we can incorporate that into your video.

Do you supply music?

Generally speaking, we use music from the Adobe royalty free library which has a massive and varied range of professional music to choose from. We can also commission custom made music especially for your video.

Do you use real world footage as well?

The majority of our output is 2D animation, but we do also work with real world footage on many of our projects. A common instance of this is when we work with professional presenters shot on green screen.

We can also combine the two mediums, incorporating 2D graphics with real world footage.

Can you work with existing assets?

If you have a bunch of existing assets, an established character to animate or an illustration that you’d like to base the video on, we can work with what you have. It will obviously depend a little on the quality of those assets but we’re always happy to give them a facelift if it’s needed!

How do feedback and revisions work?

The success of a project depends greatly on communication and team work. At each step of the process, we will keep you fully updated on progress and through our formal revision policy, we make sure your feedback is acknowledged and actioned.

How long should my video be?

It depends on what kind of video you want to put out there really. If you’re looking to gee up some interest from your audience, less – quite often – is more. You want to give them just enough information so that they want to discover more.

That said, there are certainly occasions when a longer video is necessary. Many of our videos can be upwards of 4 minutes when we’re going into a greater level of depth and detail.

For a typical explainer video, we’d shoot for something between 45 and 120 seconds, making sure that there’s time there to cover all the necessary information.

Think of the video as giving your viewers just enough information to spark their interest and invite them to take the next step.

What’s involved in getting started?

Put simply, get in touch! We would love to hear what you’re after and how we can work together. Once we have a grasp on your general requirements, we can put together a formal estimate. We’ll then shoot you over a Video Services Agreement and an initial invoice for 50% of the project total, which would be payable on initiation of the project.

We’ll then put together the creative brief and agree a schedule with you, before making sure we have all the raw ingredients to get cracking!

Do you work with other agencies or in-house teams?

Yes, absolutely. If you are an agency looking for outside help on a video project, or an in-house marketing team with the ideas but not the expertise to get it done, we’d love to help.

Who owns the rights to the video?

You do! As detailed in our Video Services Agreement, once the balance of your project is paid, full copyright becomes yours.
